The car, which was unveiled by DIG Traffic Waqas Nazir, has facial recognition software, biometric fingerprint verification, and sophisticated cameras. The AI system eliminates the possibility of human bias, tracks every move, and gives candidates automated driving test instructions as soon as they enter.

How the Digital Driving Test in Pakistan Operates

Every important aspect of safe driving is examined in Pakistan’s digital driving test. In addition to seatbelt and handbrake configuration checks and a countdown timer, the smart car has an AI system that immediately rejects applicants if reverse gear is used more than once. All driving test centres will have cameras running around-the-clock to increase accountability. The test footage will now be permanently stored and directly connected to the Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s secure database, in contrast to the previous practice of deleting it after 15 days.
